Dr. Dan Beers is a board-certified ophthalmic surgeon specializing in LASIK, cataract surgery, and EVO ICL lens implantation in the Mountain View and greater Bay Area community.

Dr. Beers previously served as Chief of Ophthalmology at El Camino Hospital and has been involved in teaching the latest surgical techniques to ophthalmology residents at Stanford University. He regularly contributes to the field through presentations on advancements in refractive surgery at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Education & Background
A Bay Area native, Dr. Beers was raised in San Jose and graduated as valedictorian from Cupertino High School. He attended the University of California, San Diego, where he graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa while also earning recognition as an NCAA All-American and winning the NCAA Tennis Doubles Championship.
He completed medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, graduating in the top tier of his class. His ophthalmology training at Oregon Health & Science University included participation in early FDA clinical studies involving excimer laser technology and laser vision correction.

Dr. Beers is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is fluent in Spanish and has participated in medical outreach efforts in Peru and Mexico.
Outside of his practice, he enjoys golf, biking, and spending time with his family. He lives in Los Altos with his wife, Katie.
