COVID Announcement

We are now open again for all of your eyecare needs. This includes all medically necessary procedures as well as refractive and elective surgery. We appreciate your patience as we take precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We have implemented some changes for the health and safety of our patients and staff:

  • • EVERYONE (patients and staff) must wear masks. Masks help protect everyone, including the healthcare workers who take care of you. We ask that you bring your own mask or scarf from home.
  • • For everyone’s safety, no one (including patients and staff) is allowed to enter our office without having their temperature checked upon arrival. Only those with a temperature below 100.4 will be allowed to enter.
  • • Please reschedule your appointment if you have a fever, illness, new cough, difficulty breathing, or loss of taste or smell. You should also reschedule if you’ve been in close contact with someone suspected of having the COVID infection during the past 2 weeks.
  • • Sneeze or cough into a cloth or tissue, or into your elbow. Do not shake hands or engage in unnecessary physical contact.
  • • All people entering the office must maintain a 6-foot distance from one another when feasible.
  • • No visitors will be allowed to wait in the waiting room or exam rooms except for special circumstances. All family and friends should wait outside the office.
  • • All magazines have been removed from the waiting area and exam rooms to avoid spreading germs. Please bring your own reading material.
  • • Staff hand hygiene and proper cleaning of all equipment surfaces in contact with patients are being performed. Our exam rooms have been modified with additional safety barriers between the patient and doctor.
